Missed Pill After Sex - Pls Help!!! Posted: 04-30-05 22:50pm
Hi everyone, this is driving me insane and
I hope someone can help. I've been on
birth control for about 6 months now. 10
days ago my boyfriend and I had
unprotected sex. I had taken my pills up
until that point and I had taken one on
the day when we had sex. I forgot to take
it the next day, however and took two
pills, as recommended, on the following
day. Is there any chance of getting
pregnant because of a missed pill the day
after intercourse? Does anyone have any
details of how birth control works in this
case? It's still too early to get a test.
For the past two days I have a feeling of
a lump in my throat and I don't know if
it's stress or can it be an early sign of
pregnancy? Please help!!!

If it's just the one day then you should
be fine.. More than one day and you
really need to use a back-up method of
protection, but I wouldn't worry at all.
