Dont know of a solution but have heard that is a common side-affect of paxil.

Hey brogin. I'm new here and when I saw what you wrote about your problems with sex I thought i'd let you know your not the only one. And that it happens to girls too. I've been taking paxil for about a year now, and I love it, it has made me a new person. Accept for one little problem. Sex isn't as fun as it should be. And to make matters worse, I can't stop thinking about sex. And I never used to be like this befor I started taking the drug. Now I dream about it every night, and think about it pretty much all day, but when it comes down to the actual act, nothing. Talk about frustrating! And I 'm scared to talk to my doctor about this because he might take me off paxil and i'll end up being a shut in again. If you've learned any ways to over come this please let me know. I'd love to chat.

I too have my own little problems with paxil, and i've been on it for 3 weeks...I always think about sex, even before paxil, so nothing unusual there..I can achieve an errection just as well as before...The only problem I have is achieving orgasm...I can go at it for well over an hour and it'll feel great, but nothing happens....Every once in a while I can do it, and its great!!! I've never shot so far in my life!!!!! So it could be seen as a disadvantage, but i'm kinda torn on it

My errections are fine and last as long as I need them to..My problem is orgasms....Or rather lack of...I'm taking paxil for social anxiety..Hoping it will help me be more social and not afraid to speak to people
