Q: Blood Test Results

My husband just recieved word that his tests were borderline for hep c?
He went to another dr for a 2nd opion and they came back saying that his
hep c antibodies are midly positive ( whatever this means) and that is probably is a false positive. Can anyone shed some light on this? Also has hep c antibodies got anything to do with gilberts syndrome, which he was diagnosed as having. What would be our next step in the process? Does everyone have hep c antibodies?

Thanks

kellie

Hep c antibodies have nothing to do with gilbert's syndrome, which is a harmless enzyme deficiency of the liver

were any of the other liver blood tests abnormal?
