I had my appendix removed 2 months ago but I still have a lot of abdominal pain in my right side. Sometimes it is cripaling pain and I cant move. I have stopped eating some things to see if that helps but it doesnt. I stayed in hospital for a long time after my operation I was in for a week. Is it possible that something could of gone wrong
a very worried 16 year old. :(

I had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. The surgeon told me surgical pain can last up to 3 months. Since the pain is a concern to you...I would definitely recommend you call your surgeon's office & tell him what's been going on. He can at least give you peace of mind...Or have some tests run to make sure there is nothing else going on.

Abdominal Pain
I had my appendix removed when I was 22. It had bothered me for some time preceeding the surgery. But a week later I felt so much better, yes removing an appendix means cutting in to your abdominal wall and that is very painfull for a few days but... If weeks later you still
are feeling pain you should see a doctor.
