Q: Tingling In Right Arm And In My Back

I have been having tingling sensations in my right arm now for some time. It comes and goes and I have been tested for carpal tunnel several months ago and that came back negative. I am experiencing one of those tingling moments right now and have had this pretty much all week...But it has traveled now to my back...I have an area inbetween my shoulder blades that is numb and tingly and will not go away....I at first was concerned about a pinched nerve somewhere but nothing relaly hurts on me, just this tingling sensation that is driving me whacko....Not sure what to do. I have made a Dr. Appt. But it is two weeks out. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this before and any suggestions as to what might be going on. I am also concerned that there could be a tumor someplace back there growing and pressing against a nerve somewhere...Any ideas?!?!?!?!

I have the same symptons in my left arm for about 3 months now. The tingle if focused just below my sholder and travels down my forearm. It only occurs when im in some positions. The problem started when I slept on one of the "ergo" pillows, so im thinking I have a pinched nerve in my neck.

tingle in the right arm and shoulder

Can't tell you what it might be but I am also having the same thing and thought the same things that you do. No I have not gone to the doctors. I thought at first it was from working out. Then I thought it was bad circulation. I guess it's one more thing to deal with. OH WELL

Tingling in right arm and in back

Hello all,

It seems that you are having some pinched and / or dislocated nerves in your back and possibly your shoulder.

I would suggest to see a special massage therapist or a chiro or somebody like me.

Started having a tingling sensation in right arm and numbness intermittently in my 3 middle fingers right hand...came on suddently...went to Doctor, had back & neck X-4ays, waiting on results...went to chiro. today...and had adjustment, little better - but going back to him in 3 days. weird feeling - like electrical impulses up and down right arm - not painful, just unpleasant and definitely not normal!

tingling sensation at about my right shoulder

I myself have a sort of numness/ pain/tingling sensation at about my right shoulder blade, and in my upper right arm. It feels like l want to hand from the monkey bars until the pain goes away. I wouod liken it to a stress pain, or carpul tunnel syndrom. I'll probaby ask my doctor about it in 3 weeks. 42 yo male.

I have been having a very light tingling down my left arm - actually it feels more like an electrical impulse in/on my skin, or like a feather being stroked down my arm. Also noticed previous to my arm starting up, that when undressing on a couple of occasions it felt as if someone ran a feather quickly across my back. This all appears to be in/on my skin. No pain. Just wondering if it's something I should be really concerned about?
