I'm a 23 year old male. The otehr night I really didnt want to use a dirty public bathroom so before I went out I sat at the toilet and in a hurry I forced whatever I could out.

The next day, I felt some kind of weird pain near my anus. It was a sensitive feeling bump. Its been about 5 days since this happened now. I barely notice it anymore but if I sit on something hard I notice it. Its about the size of a greenpea I guess and im kind of freaked out and embarassed about this. Im guessing its a hemorrhoid. I dont have insurance either so now im wondering.....

Do these things go away in time ? Will this lump always be there? I know theres creams and ointments like prep h, but I have no pain or itch really. It might give me the kind of itch I get from a mosquito bite but not for more than 20 seconds a day. What im basically wondering is if this lump will sink back under my skin or will the only way to get rid of it be surgery( which I am scared crapless about. Id rather live with it and just not bike anymore) what kind of doctor would I need to see for this if I deicided to have it looked at ? Please answer away at anything you can. I'd really like to know what would happen if I left this untreated...

Generally speaking eat more fiber and drink more water...Keep stools loose. The the h and see if it does not go away visit hemorrhoid relief centers and they can tell you wether you need additional help.

Getting rid of hemmeroids
Fissures and Hemmeroids are very hard to heal! Here are some steps that have really helped me:
1. Before you make a bowel movement, smear Vaseline outside and a little inside your anus.
2. Clean after your bowel movement with Cottenelle Flushable Wipes.
3. After you are clean, use a Tucks Medicated Pad with Witch Hazel. I also found it helpful to put it on the anus and stand up while brushing my teeth leaving the Tucks on for a few minutes before you throw it away.
4. At least once a day, sit in a hot/warm bath with Epsom Salts (1-2 cups depending on how much water you are using).
5. Eat nothing but fruit for breakfast up to Noon.
6. Drink lots of water & juice during the day.
GOOD LUCK!
