Hello,
i am new to this forum. Here is a bit of background: I have been on ortho-tri cyclen-lo for over 6 months, and thus far, have had no problems with it. I absolutely love it. I used to have really bad cramps (usually about 1 full day of horrible pain each month) before going on it, but it has greatly reduced the strength and duration of my cramps each month - now it seems to be down to one-half day with moderate pain.
My problem now is that, starting friday, I have been having inconsistant, but bad, cramps. Then, yesterday (saturday), I started bleeding, which has also been off and on, but somewhat heavy. I took the last pill of my cycle last night (excluding sugar pills), which seems odd and worrisome to me. I usually start my period the monday or tuesday after the last pill - so this inconsistent bleeding/pain is really just an early period, or abnormal. I just woke up due to horrible pains, and I can not fall back asleep. Unfortuantly, my clinic is closed on sundays, so I will have to wait it out to see if this gets any better.
Any advice/suggestions/thoughts? Please help!!!!!
I appreciate any response...

-kirsten
