Q: Hard When Not Erected

Well i've been experiece a little problem lately...The penis sometimes gets real hard while not erected (iam 27 years old by the way). I don't feel anything or any kind of discomfort (except when I touch it).

My doctor is on vacation until next week, and I thought to ask if it might be something serious so as to seek help sooner or just to wait.
