It's not wierd at all. I was 18 when I got my first boyfriend, and that was only cause I went off to college and got to start over. Just because you don't start dating when you're 13 doesn't mean you're not normal. Some people just don't jump into relationships just to have them. I think I was a lot better not to date in high school and it saved me from a lot of drama that me friends went through. And the older you get the more mature you and your potiental mates become. Actually I have another problem is that I am overweight,6 feet but 196bls already. Will the weight problem become a curcial factor that leads my dating failure.

Ummm my last bf was over about 6'3'' and he was over 300lbs. I find myself as an attractive girl alot of guys think I am pretty and that did not stop me. Its all about what is inside I know your thinking ya right but for real!

Your aboustely normal hun,there are many girls and guys today that don't haven't had a girlfriend or a boyfriend yet,one day you'll meet that girlfriend that you've never had,and hopefully she'll care about whats inside and outside of you and also will accepte you for who you are and understand that you've never had a girlfriend,but don't worry there will be girls coming around it just takes time sometimes for girls that you want to have also girls feel the same way they've never had a boyfriend and they ask if there normal or not yes your normal but it just takes time,best wishes to you

Dont worry what you look like man. It doesnt matter how you look. This may sound harsh but I have seen some but ugly guys in my day with some very beautiful women. Dont worry. Just be confident go to some parties and talk to girls, be very nice to them. And ask if they want to do something. Most will say yes, because after all hangin out with a girl isnt asking them out or marrying them lol. Then after a w hile see where the relationship goes.

I think you're normal - just think of someone like me who's 23 and never had a girlfriend but everyone acts like I should have a girlfriend - I don't know - but anyway you're definately normal matey. Take care.

I think you're perfectly normal...I myself was one of those people involved with the drama of high school dating, but I have many friends who are completely awesome who have never had a girlfriend or boyfriend, and some are even older than you. I think everything happens in its own time. Don't rush anything because that's what "everyone else" is doing, if it's meant to happen it will.

Well i've never had a girlfriend and i'm turning 29 in september. I've gone through all manner of reasons why in my head and can't work out why. I wash every day so it's not body odour, I have a fairly varied amount of interests and I have what i've been told is a good personality and sense of humour.

My thinking is i'm either not good looking enough, a bit too shy or too nice/been brought up as too much of a gentlemen (not in an annoying obtrusive way just a polite way) or a combination of all of these things.

Anyway i've given up on finding a girlfriend - no point when it's never going to happen I guess. :cry:

I'm 20 and I've never had a proper relationship. I dated someone briefly (for two weeks) when I was 17 but I wasn't ready for a relationship and just saw him as a very good friend.

this is totally normal. A lot of people think that the sooner you have a relationship the better but it is not true at all. A lot of people think that being with someone is the goal but not true at all. The goal is actually to find exactly what you want first and then go find it.
