Q: 5 Weeks And Anxious

Hi-
i'm new to the board. I am 5 weeks today, and have had my bloodwork done to check my hcg and progesterone levels, and they seem to be going up they way they should. I am so anxious though, and can't seem to get this know out of my stomach. We tried for so long to get pregnant and now that I am, I couldn't be happier, but am terrified of the next 6-7 weeks. Just wanted to see if anyone else out there felt the same stress and anxiety in the first trimester and went on to have a happy, healthy baby and pregnancy.

Thanks!

Me Too!
Also new to the board, and I know exactly how you feel! I have had two miscarriages, but they were with a different father. Still, I have decided that it must be very normal for women to worry about this during the first trimester. Just try to stay positive! Good luck.

I totally understand you guys! I am 5 weeks today, and I have a history of miscarraiges (3 to be exact, one of them was in my 2nd trimester) and i'm feeling totally anxious!

But I think that if I focus on other things like excersize and eating right.. It kinda takes my mind off of it for a while.

I have a 7 year old son, so i've been thru this whol thing before....

It takes a while, but before you know it, you're totally preggers!! Lol and can't wait for it to end! ;]
