plastic surgery in Poland
There are two options when it comes to the surgery being performed: under general or local anaesthetic. The costs of the ear pinning surgery depend on the anaesthetic.

Under general anaesthetic (both ears) ca. 813 GBP
Under local anaesthetic (both ears) ca. 723 GBP

The estimated time of stay in Poland is up to 7 days. 5-7 days after the surgery the stitches will be removed. Time off work will be less than a week, the scar tissue healing takes 1-2 months. You can get back to active life after 2 weeks.
The type of anesthesia depends on the age of the patient and the doctor's final decision.
Usually if a child is the patient, then the surgeon may recommend general anesthesia, so the child will sleep through the operation. For older children or adults, the surgeon may prefer to use local anesthesia, combined with a sedative, so that you will be awake but relaxed.

Ear surgery usually takes about two to three hours, although complicated procedures may take longer. The technique will depend on the problem.
When it comes to getting back to normal, adults and children are usually up and around within a few hours of surgery, although you may prefer to stay overnight in the hospital until all the effects of general anesthesia wear off. Your head will be wrapped in a bulky bandage immediately following surgery to promote the best molding and healing. The ears may throb or ache a little for a few days, but this can be relieved by medication.

If you have any questions, feel free to ppm me.

Big ears...
Dumbo, Satalight dish hanger, big ears.. these are not any names i have ever been called, thank god Razz. But 'Jay88, i am in the exact same position of you... My ears arrenty actualy THAT big, the just stick out, i mean REALLY stick out. im also from the UK (Scotland) and have tried to have longer hair, move my ears back (so cool at party's Very Happy) and wear hats, but when i wear a cap hat my ears ar 10x worse, then when i wear a pull over hat i look like Queen Amidala from Star Wars because its like two mountains at the side of my head LOL. I am extremely confident though, but i know that i will be over the moon if i get my ears pinned back but im kinda emmbaressed to ask my parents, they'll think im being stupid, especially since iv been harrasing my mum all week to stop with the botox she is getting, yuck. But im not wanting the op to boost my confidence, dont think i could get any more confident Razz im doin it to look better and feel better about myself, is that dumb?? Honestly... My best friends mum had it done when she was younger and a friend from school also, but i have 1 question... Will they go back to normal in a few years????

Talk to me!!

Research
i had my ears pinned back when i was 22, now i'm 25 and after two lots of revision surgery my ears are f#$í. Make sure you research the surgeon and his results. Ask him every question you can think of and if he doesn't seem that interested go to another surgeon.

well ive just had mine done 2 days ago. my head itches like crazy because of the bandages are itertating my skin. i have to keep them on for 2 week and i cant go out of the house because everyone looks at me. im sure it will all pay off when the bandages come off. but i just no these 2 weeks will be the longest 2 weeks of my life. im 13 and i was really scared when i went under on the anicphetic but when your out its just like uve just shut your eyes and then opened them straight away. its really annoying not been able to wash your hair though. my dad keeps saying if your head is itching now just wait a couple of days. ive just stopped crying bcause the itching was really bad.

Hope this helps !

haha yeah i can move my ears back too its weird idk a lot of people cant do it.
but anyways bonafide
I have big ears and they stick out a little but I wear my hair down a lot and I learned to accpet them. My boyfriend and sister think they are cute for some reason and it just makes me laugh. They are a part of me and without them I wouldnt be me...When I was younger though I was ridiculed and made fun of a lot but hey kids will be kids. I have thought about surgery but I have no money. I heard in Colombia they do a great job and its less expensive. Maybe when I get older since I might wear my hair up more I might think about going in for surgery but I'm not in a rush...

Ears , x
I Got My Ears Pinned Back On Monday Due To Feeling My Ears Were Sticking Out . The Bandage Is very itchy and its uncomfortable when you try and sleep. Also If like me you had one ear worse than another it will quite a bit painfull than the other. The Bandage also makes it dificult to hear. The Operation Usualy goes well only about 5% of operations dont work out. When you wake up its a little weird as your ears feel to be pushed away back. Cant wait for the results , heres hoping they will be good
