I've have this back pain between my left shoulder and my spine which radiates midway into my low back and I also get neck pains along my left side plus i've got this new sensation a tingling feeling along the left side of my head near the temple area, this has been going on for almost 2 years but within the last 3 montsh i've noticed the pain has become so severe I get nausea and can't sleelp sometimes. Could this be more serious then my doctor has been telling me it is. I just wish someone could help me out any advice would be appreciated.

I Feel You Pain
I have sort of the same symptoms only the pain seems to be existing between my right shoulder and my spine. I've had two mri's one of the cervical spine and the other of the right shoulder. So far the both are normal. No tears or rips. But that still does not explain the pain in the area that I have had for 4 months. Knowing that I drive vehicles that are over  26,000 pounds for a living but some how the docs don't think that driving the heavy vehics causes the problem. Please help!!!!

Pain
Try talking to the doctor about arnold chiari malformation. I know that some doctors have no clue what it is but your symptoms are similar to that. It is worth investigating and talking to someone who has knowledge in this area. Best of luck. Piglady

It sounds like you should definitely go back to your doctor and express the worries you have, if appropriate visit a professional chiropractor as they'll be able to assist you with your back problems.

That's what chiropractors do, keep telling you that you need more adjustments and the patient keep going and going and going, and doesn't get any "real results."

What you need to do is go to a spine specialist that has an MD after his/her name. You need to see either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.

You need an evaluation and proper diagnosis before you can have any treatment plan set up for you.

Get to the MD spine specialist and go from there.

Good luck

Fran
