Q: Ms And Divorce

I am new to the world of ms and only know what i've read on a few web sites. I am involved and very much in love with a man whose wife has ms. They have been separated for over a year and it is clear that their differences will not be worked out; neither party wants to reconcile. The problem he is having is how to handle a divorce. She is disabled but living on her own (hundreds of miles away). He is her only means of insurance and therefore the idea of a divorce is frightening from a financial standpoint... He has no idea where to turn for answers such as how others have handled this situation. I am very sympathetic to her medical and life issues and certainly don't want to seem insensitive, but this is impacting the happiness of my loved one and I don't know how to help. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
