This is kind of complicated. I'd say that about a year ago, through rough horseplay with siblings, I was shoved onto the bed. I remember feeling something odd like I had landed wrong somehow. I didn't experience anything then.

That night, I was completely unable to lay on my back because every time I exhaled, it felt like something was piercing my heart. I was experiencing this pain kinda in the shoulder blade area on my left side. In order to stop it, I had to sleep on my side or lay on my right side.

Some nights, the pain was bearable but other nights, it was unbearable. This happened for many months. Then, one night out of the blue, the pain was now on the right side rather than on the left side. It was still on the same 'level'. And I suffered with that since.

Sometimes, I also feel the pain in my chest on the same level as well if I lean back too far or to the right or left, etc. It seems like its at its worse when i've been laying on my back in bed.

Should I be concerned? I figured it would go away on its own like I pulled or tore the muscle but i'm wondering if it may be bone-related.
