This isn't a vitamin question per se, but has anyone heard about the benefits of of omega 3 6 and 9s for health and weight? It's supposed to make your "brown fat" (the good fat) healthy so you can metabolize fat access fat better. Has anyone ever heard of this? Do you think it's true?

Also, what are good sources of these oils? Thanks.

Does that mean taking them are good for you? Do they make you lose weight? And can you get more than enough of them? I am taking 2 tablespoons of safflower oil and 1 teaspoon of flaxseed oil a day.

What do you think this will do?

Omega 3
Apparently from all that I have seen, it does help with weight. It is also reputed to help lower cholesterol, improve brain function, help with skin, hair ect.....

The problem with flax seed oil and safflower is that they provide very little of the dha, which is the one that we really lack ( a strain or something of one of the omega 3's)

fish oil is the best option, although the flax seed and such are still good they just don't cut it. (not cod liver oil, either)

we do not lack in omega 6 in our diets, however I can find little info on omega 9. Anyone have any info on it.?

Yes Omegas Are Healthy But There Is More Than That.
The true answer and key to our dis-eases is the link between our natural antibodies and us. Known as probiotics these are what make us strong.
