Bleach And Breast Cancer? Posted: 04-15-05 11:45am
Hi. I read in an article from Dr.
Dufresne of cancer care ontario that
bleach is being linked to breast cancer.
He said that we should use products that
don't have toxic chemicals, especially
when we have kids. I found a company to
buy from that only produces safe, natural
products (at walmart prices, :) ) that I
can order off the internet. So I am
using those. But I was wondering if
anyone else had heard that about bleach.
I've started reading up about it and doing
research, but I would sure appreciate the
input of anyone who would care to
comment.

I highly doubt it's being linked to breast
cancer successfully.. Maybe cancer in
general? I don't know. I think where
the problem with bleach comes into play is
inhaling the fumes. It never hurts to
avoid cleaning products with bleach. I
hate all those fumes! Using bleach in
your wash, etc won't hurt, but I agree
it's best in general to avoid toxic
cleaners.
