I just read an article from December of 2002 that stated there is reason to believe that there could be as many as 4 million people with Lupus in this country!

That is TEN times the number of people who have MS!!!!!

Why is it that no one seems to want to talk about our disease?

The same article stated that the death rate has been going up for Lupus and that a lot of Lupus doctors think this has to do with the length of time it takes to be diagnosed. This got me thinking...

How long did it take you to be diagnosed? It took me 5 years! And yes, I do believe it has made a difference in how bad my Lupus is now!
