Q: Appendix Mystery

I am currently recovering from a laparscopy. My doctor thought I had endometriosis. I suffer from constipation and chronic stomach pain during my menstral cycle. This has gone on for many years.

I was told that my appendix has scar tissue on it. The weird thing is, my appendix is not where it is supposed to be in my body. I will continue working with my doctors to see what the next step is, to see if this is the source of my pain.

I'd like to know if anybody has an opinion about this.....Anyone heard of the appendix not being in the correct place? ....
