I had a bleeding stroke in my sight center seven years ago and lost the upper right quadrant of my sight. I also have spots in the rest of my sight field that are lost as well. A year ago I had very successful aortic valve replacement.
Now I find my memory is being cjanged. I cannot learn new things as I once did and I tend to lose whole pieces of things I have just learned.
Is there any one out there who has encountered this sort of problem?

I am not a Dr.. Keep in mind that we all have our good and bad days. Have you spoke with your Dr. About this? I have fibromyalgia and other medical problems, their are a lot of times that I have brain fog, short and long term memory loss and it does get upsetting(i know this), some medications will do this and I am, by no-means trying to tell you to stop taking your meds. The main thing that I have felt is that I have to keep functioning and not dwell on it and if I am having a bad day, I just hope that tomorrow will be a better day. Try to talk to your Dr.
The best to you!
Sincerely,
sandy
