My daughter (14) just got her first period. Does anyone know when she should go to see a gyn? Any help would be appreciated.

She wouldn't need to go unless she develops problems.. I was 18 the first time I went.

Usually she wouldn't need to go unless she has a menstrual a problem. She will need to go once she becomes sexually active or when she turns 18. If she is under 18 and not sexually active they won't do a pelvic exam or anything.
