If you use it at night before bed you shouldn't be leaking. The sent will last through out the next day and in some case beyond. I first heard about norform 15 years ago walking home from school with a friend that discovered them in her mothers bedroom. So it has definitely been around a long time because I am in my 40's now. I know someone that has been treated for genital warts by having a biopsy. It is an STD so it could not have contracted from this product. That being said I have had four children and notice a change in smell about a week before and after I have my cycle. I do not have an infection and ran across the box in the store. I tried one suppository and worked for days. Before this I used medicated douche and it worked as well. I know what the doctors say about douching but I personally will use them at least 3 times a year. 1 vinegar one, three months later a medicated one, and another vinegar one three months later. I know that the vagina is self cleaning but even a self cleaning oven needs to be wiped down afterwards. Talk to your OBGYN, I mean develop a relationship. Remember this is your body and you should use your visits wisely. Right down questions so you don't forget at the time of your visit. My doctor knows my regimine. That was my compromise from monthly douching. I am going to reduce that and try the noroforms which were oked.

Can you use norforms if you are on birth control?

I would like to answer the last to questions above, If you are going to use them incerting them before bathing will help with the leakage, I have used them for 2yrs and have found that they work great. And a pantyliner would be good for the first half hour,all leaks should clear.

I use them all the time. I have a very sensitive vagina, prone to yeast infections and easily irritated by sexual intercourse. Also I'm on the Depo shot so my hormones are all out of whack. I get a weird odor every few months and RELY on norforms to handle the job. I've had NO side effects. And coming from me, that's great. I even get irritated wen I use those rephresh ph balancing thingies. I will say that the leaking will stop. I usually put it in while I'm laying down, taking a nap, or going to bed at night so it doesn't leak out right away and can really do it's job. After a while I'll urinate (which encourages any fluids in the vagina to exit) and then shower. Most of it is out by then but sum likes to stick around. So I'll wear a panty liner/light pad for a little while n that'll catch the last of it.

I've used Norforms for almost 20 yrs. I use them daily for a fresh feeling. I've never had any adverse problems while using Norforms.
My only problem is availability of the product. Wal-Mart and Shop-Rite don't sell them anymore(I live in NJ). They're much more expensive in the local drug stores. So I ordered them on line instead.

Yes these are definately safe and you do not have to worry about them staying inside you.. They are suppositories which eventually melt in the vagina.

does norforms effect you ph levels

To avoid the annoying leakage during the day...insert the norforms before you go to bed so most of the leakage takes place while you sleep. I also recommend to insert right before sex...my man couldn't get enough!!!

what is the expiration date for norforms

Please can anyone help me find out the expiration date for norforms suppositories? i have check the product and I cant locate it. which of the two products is more effective fresh flower or island escape. thanks

I feel nervous too. I've gone to my Dr and everything. Still the same thing. I'm very anti douching because I know it pushes things up that should be out. My co worker who is 51 told me to try them. I'm just sitting here staring at the box. I'm kinda sensitive too. I'll give them a shot because I'm gettin discouraged and starting to hate my vagina. Thanks dog the advice ladies!

is there any taste when u use them? will my hubby still like to preform oral sex on me

two questions before i order these Which i have pondered for a while. Are you sure theyre okay to use before sex cos i assumed it would get rather messy down there and oral sex - thats a whole other matter lol. And two to cut down on leakage couldnt norforms just be used less frequently [once every two to three days?] i dont like the idea of leaking every day and surely the flower smell would linger down there for a while. If i could order a big wholesale box for Cheap to the uk i would Lol.

also can they be used during your period?
