Why is it that people have such a hard time accepting people with lupus you hear them say oh she has cancer she is a nice person but you do not want to get involed with her or we try to do right and we are the ones that are called freaks and are treated differently than anybody else I have spots and sometimes I just do not hide them and this makes others go away I have a child and they pick on him for it because of me sometimes I wish I was gone that way his life would be better than it is now it just hurts so bad sometimes it hurts to see him sad Sad Sad

Whyme...I understand. I am dealing with this myself, right now.

1) we are sick...Not an excuse, a fact. We can't change it. No matter how much we wish we could.

I hear you! The rashes, the weight gain...I feel like a freak all the time. Luckily, I have some good friends (including fellow lupus patients) that get me through those hard times. We stick by and up for one another. If you want to talk offline, I can give you some contact information over pm.

I hope you feel better! A lot of us here know exactly how you feel! Ask away...We are quite a tight-knit group! Smile

welcome!!!
Hugs,
