I dont agree wit abortions either. And my bf wanted me to have one too. And I didnt care if that meant for us to still be together or not. Abortions are not what u want to do if u know morally that it is wrong. For me, I would just feel guilty. And my conscience would really get to me later on in life. So do what ur heart says and not what ur bf wants or says. Since its ur body and u will be the one takin care of the baby probably 95% of the time.

Hun, this is a hard decision... (me personally, im completely against abortion) but it's a decision that you have to make on your own, there's help out there, I don't know your personal life, my advice is, it's a life changing decision to have a baby , I know, im 16 and pregnant, and it's like I know it's going to be rough, but luckily my fiance and both our families are very supportive at first they were angry but not it's all ok.. So I gues what im trying to say is, would u be able to live with urself for the rest of ur life with either having an abortion or raising that child thats growing inside u.

I'm pro choice I guess because I have been there.
If you do go ahead and terminate make sure you see a properly qualified doctor - infections can be nasty and you don't want to ruin your chances of possible mother-hood in the future.
However, termination is not the only choice, you can always have the baby adopted. There are very many happy adopted people in this world.
See someone, maybe a nurse at your family doctors or a school counsellor/teacher that you feel able to talk to.
This is your decision not your boyfriends. You make the choice not him, it is your body do what feels right to you and only you.
But please discuss your options with someone first.

My bf begged me to have an abortion, as a matter of fact we got into huge arguments over it. After he gave me the silent treatment for a week or two, he got over it and he's very excited now!! I went to planned parenthood and was going to get an abortion, but thankfully they didn't accept checks, which I had prayed for something to go wrong so I wouldn't have to go through w/ it. When my ex boyfriend and I concieved a baby at 18 he told me to have an abortion also. I had no job and was scared. I told my parents and my doc my situation and they helped me get on housing, medical assistance and wic. My parents and rummage sales helped me get what I needed for my baby. I was married to my ex but divorced him cause he was very abusive tword me and my daughter. He is now long out of the pic and I was on my own with her for awhile and am now engaged to a wonderful man. The choice is yours, but just think about it and make sure you wouldn't regret you're decision. If your only reason to have one is cause your young or don't have much money don't do it.....You will find a way to make it go! I'm a guy and I know I could never let my girlfriend have a abortion it would tear my heart and soul out of me but theirs nothing more I would like the have than a little girl! But I guess i'm different, if I was you I would have the baby I know it would be hard but you would get through I don't think you would regret it but its not up to me so good luck and I wish you well

Whatever you decide (like all of the other said) let it be your decision, not anyone else's. Don't do anything because you are afraid your boyfriend will get mad if you don't, or because you want to make him happy. This is about you and your pregnancy. He obviously isn't a real man and if you do have the baby you will most likely be on your own.
Some people who have abortions later regret it, but a lot of others don't. Actually, to be honest more people don't regret it than do. But, that is something only you know. Even if someone else regretted their decision, that doesn't mean you will, or vice versal. Only you can know that.
If you don't want to have an abortion then don't. You don't need to go on assistance either, because you can collect child support from him. If he up and runs away and you can't afford it then go on assistance, that is why it is there.
Just make sure that when you make your decision, it isn't influenced by anyone else! Not your boyfriend, parents, friends, or even these posts. Make the decision for you. Good luck hun.

if you are not sure, then you definitely should not have an abortion. At least not yet. If you both lean towards it and lean away from it, then you need to think more about it. But I am getting the sense that you really don't want the abortion, and, as you said, you "don't believe in them." it is your choice, and generally, whatever your choice is, your life generally can work out anyway.

But do note that some women "don't believe in them" until they actually feel they need one and feel it to be a liberating experience as well. Only you know whether it is ok for you or not.

It is your choice. You are the expert in your own life, nobody else are.

So do what works for you. After all, nobody else have to live your life afterwards, so make a decision you can live with.
