Q: Dimpled Skin..help!!!

Hi.. Im not sure if im postin it in the right section or not but I need help..

I'm 22 and gettin depressed.. Coz my bumbs n thighs have dimpled skin.. And it looks really ugly n old n wrinkly .. I dun even like lookin at it.. .. Is there anythin I can do to make my skin smooth and nice like other girls my age.. I cant even wear a swimsuit.. :(

It sounds like cellulite.. I started getting it when I was 21.. I wish I had a solution for it, I just try to exercise enough to keep the area toned. You might want to try posting in acne, skin disorders if you haven't already.

It depends.. Are you overweight or not? Loosing weight can help (since it is really clumps of fat cells). Even skinny people have fat cells, and if they clump together just right it can create cellulite. It's possible to talk to a skin specialist to see if they have any procedures to help smoothe it out. Also, I hear if you are going to use over the counter creams, look for products with caffeine (and ideally copper as well). While these don't eliminate the problem, they help plump out the skin and can minimize the look. If you have saggy skin, maybe from losing weight or other reasons, you could potentially look at plastic surgery (in fact lipo suction would get rid of most of it as well).. But that's probably what you would want to do as a last resort.
