Q: Help Anyone Tryed Lexapro

Ive just changed medications I was on efexor now the doctor has put me on lexapro has anyone been on it or still on it. Has there been any side effects or weight gain I know everyone is different and has different side effects just want to find out more about them from people who have or is on them thanks :?

I was on it for a short time, it did absolutely nothing for me, might as well been a sugar pill.

I was on it for a short while as a trial (i don't currently take meds) and had absolutely no side effects.

I tried lexapro and it turned me into a different person in all the bad ways. I turned into a mean person. The funny thing is that now I am on effexor and it seems to be working for me. Everyone's different. I know people who are on lexapro and it really helps them.

Lexapro

In my opinion lexapro is a wonderful medication and no there should not be any side effects. There should not be any weight gain. It has done wonders for me!!! I am completely out of my depression I would recommend this to anyone!!

I am now taking lexapro. It seems to help enough to take the edge off. However, I am still depressed. I guess like they say medication cant take away everything.I also go for counseling

taking lexapro.. only side effect is sexual. unable to orgasm and loss of desire. not wanting to forgo that aspect of life.. anyone taking other meds without this effect? i've tried many ssri's and welbutrin. all seem to have this effect except welbutrin which gives me anxiety and shakiness. any advice?
