Hey,
everyone is different but I personally found there was no difference in the feeling of having sex.
Although at present 5 months post op I have no desire but I put this down to other contributing factors.
The big issue with endo is that even with a hysterectomy you are not guaranteed that the endo and pian will go.
This is because the endo tissue can (and indeed is likel if you have suffered badly for some time) to have invaded the pelvic region.
A hyst due to endo is very likely to include removal of the cervix and both ovaries, this will then force you into a surgical menopause.
Be sure to discuss this with your doctor very carefully, make more than one appt to discuss things.
Keep a note book with you and jot down questions you will want to ask as the appt approaches - it's very easy for the mind to go blank once you are in there.
You can also use your notebook to jot the answers to your questions.
Do not let the doctor rush you into a decision
get a second opinion.
Look at other alternatives if possible.
Hysterectomy is major surgury and should be an absolute last resort - there is no going back
