Ok heres my problem
ive been with my lovely boyfriend for 11months now I love him compleatley up till 3weeks ago sex was great....And did'nt hurt me...Occasionaly it hurt if I wasnt ready but we figured that was the problem...Now for the last 3weeks ive had pains that have moved around from the outside to deep inside and back again...Its a burning sensation and its really bad...I dont feel comfortable going to my male doctor...Stupid maybe but I feel really uncomfortable with the whole idea..
First off it started on the outside just a really stingy pain on touch...Kinda like paper cuts....Then it hurt as he entered and it hurt and burned so much deep inside....3weeks its been now and all I want is to have him and not hurt...Really getting me down.
Thanks for reading. Please help

It's ok to switch doctors, so you should find a woman doctor who makes you feel comfortable and talk to her about it. You should make sure it's not an infection that's causing the pain. Have you tried using lubricant?

At any time you visit the doctor - you have the right to ask to be examined by a female doctor or nurse instead.
Are you using condoms? Are they latex ones? Latex allergy is a common complaint and is why docotrs now try to avoid latex gloves also.
Try changing condoms to hypo-allergenic ones. Make sure they are lubricated (most are anyway but just check) see some women no matter how turned on they get just don't produce much natural lubrication so either make sure if your using condoms they ar lubricated or if you are ttc then get a water based lubricant to see if that helps.

You really should see a doctor. A friend of mine was in agony for weeks and explained her pain as lots of paper cuts and it turned out she had genital herpes. If you have been with your boyfriend for 11 months and have had sex the whole time and both been faithful then you more than likely don't have it but it is best to be sure. Another friend of mine gets bad urine tract infections when she has heeps of sex. There are lots of things it could be but it probably wont go away until you see a doctor. Doctors treat patients with these types of problems all the time so there is no need to be embarressed.

Yes, you should definately see a doctor. Some std's don't show for a while as they lie dormant for long periods of time, so you could have herpes, warts, etc. But, most likely it is probably just some kind of an infection. Or, you two could have had sex one time that injured you and just hasn't healed up yet. That could be what is burning you.
I agree totally with the latex allery that kia mentioned. It is very common and can be very uncomfortable. But, to rule out anything serious or just something minor that can be treated easily, go see a doc. Your doctor wont be offended that you want to see a female doctor. You can even go to a family planning type place and see the nurse practioner there. Since you are sexually active you really need to be getting your annual pap tests anyway.
