Hi there,
i just wanted to see if anyone is in the
same boat.
I am in a serious monogamous relationship
with someone I trust and love, however,
there is a serious problem in the sexual
dept. When he tries to insert his penis
into the opening of my vagina, it is
extremely extremely painful. It feels
like the vagina is ripping at the opening.
He manages to get it in a little but it
feels like needles and pins are tearing
the skin that he is touching. I just
wondered if anyone else has shared this
experience.
I went to the dr and he told me that it is
called vaginismus, it is a psychological
condition which can be cured...?

Yes, trust your doctor...Doesn't have to
do with your age or whether or not you're
nervous. I work for an ob-gyn office and
was actually just reading about a girl who
has the same thing as you. I think the
doctor told her to try using lube and
relaxing. Check with your doc about
relaxation techniques. We actually have
a physical therapist on staff who
specializes in these things and does
muscle things for this...Check with your
doc, she may have some ideas!
