Another thing that was on my mind...
I notice that people say that you should
work out 3-5 times per week...
I used to do just that, but now that I am
very busy, I am only able to work out
twice a week, maybe more if i'm lucky...
But those 2 days out of the week are, I
would say, intense...
After I get out of work (on mondays and
wednesdays), I go straight to the ymca and
begin to work out (i get there at about
5pm)...
I stretch for about 15-25, maybe 30 mins.,
run for 15, and work various machines for
just about everything; arms, shoulders,
back, legs, calves, abs; then I stretch
again...
And I do this until it is time for my
capoeira class at 7:30 (a brazilian
martial art/dance; look it up, its a great
full body work out, but I dont do it for
that, thats just a nice side-effect)...
So basically that work out session was my
warm up for that class...
And in that class, its mostly all cardio;
we warm up, which usually lasts more or
less 30 mins., then work on whatever we're
workin on, which is still very tiring,
then we "play" (it is considered a game,
to make it easier to some, its similar to
"sparring" but with no intentions of
harming the opponent; iono, its hard to
explain, just look it up!)...
And all of this usually goes on until a
little after 9pm, and when we do end,
sometimes we work on stuff after class
(the fun stuff like flips, spins, etc.
"floreios") for a bit which can usually
last until 10pm...
So i'm basically workin out for 5 hours
with limited rest time...
Is that a good thing? Is it safe?
