Hi my brother is 14 and says he sometimes, not often, has a little discomfort in his knees. He says it hurts to stand up and sometimes to play basketball, but it hurts most when he jumps. But he says it does not hurt when he runs kneels or uses steps. What is wrong with him? Is there anything he can take to take the pain away without haveing to go to a doctor and tell our parents?
