I have been going to my doctor since november 2004 and he found my red blood cells to be very low. He sent me for many tests for the digestive tract and also a colonoscopy which turned up nothing. I started to take iron pills, which helped. When I finished the iron pils, the red blood cells dropped again. Now I am on iron again, but I also have leg pain, frequent urination, bloating, a loss of appetite but no weight loss. I am thinking this could be ovarian cancer. Can your regular doctor take any tests to confirm this or do you have to go to a cancer doctor? Has anyone else have these symptoms?

Ovarian Cancer
Your regular doctor can do a CA125 blood test and can order a pelvic ultrasound. This is what mine did and then when they found a cyst they sent me to my GYN.
