Missed Periods
Posted: 03-29-05 12:21pm

I'm 32 and for the pass three years I have been having irregular period. Went to Dr. And they couln't find anything wrong. With just the basic test. Ie blood, vaginal, pap, pelvic, and ultrasound. Now I go months without a period. So far the logest was 6 months then I was regular for four months and now I going on my third month with no period again. All my pregnancy test come out negitive. So does any one have a clue to what I am experiencing? Any information will be very helpful. :p

Hey, i've had that same problem. I first got my period when I was 11 years old and I would skip a month or two and wouldn't pay it any attention just because I know that all girls period is irregular for the first couple of years. But now i'm going on 19 years old this year and am still having the same problem, the longest I ever went without it was also 6 months and one day it just came. Now, after having a regular period all last year or at least every month last year, i'm still struggling with the same problem I haven't had one since february 1,2005 and I took a pregnancy test in march and it came out negative. Every time I ask a doctor they tell me its normal for girl my age but i'm having trouble believing that, I would also like so help or some advice.

No Period For Over 1 1/2 Years
Posted: 02-28-06 12:45pm

Hi, had this problem for many years now, use to have irregular periods, use to come on different times of the month etc... Then missed a few completly, went a year without a period, then one day just came back on, then over a year and a half ago it stopped again, and have nothing since. It's crazy and very upsetting, am getting help from the hospital but have had no joy as yet. Anyone know why this is happening? :(

I have that problem. I went to the gyno for breast discharge and then I went to a specialist and I also told her about my irrigular periods and she says she thinks everything is because of hormones. So what am I suppose to do to regulate my hormones? My greatest fear is that missing a period everyother month is going to affect my future plans for children. Anyone else feel that way?
