I'm 32 and for the pass three years I have been having irregular period. Went to Dr. And they couln't find anything wrong. With just the basic test. Ie blood, vaginal, pap, pelvic, and ultrasound. Now I go months without a period. So far the logest was 6 months then I was regular for four months and now I going on my third month with no period again. All my pregnancy test come out negitive. So does any one have a clue to what I am experiencing? Any information will be very helpful. :p

Me Two
Hey, i've had that same problem. I first got my period when I was 11 years old and I would skip a month or two and wouldn't pay it any attention just because I know that all girls period is irregular for the first couple of years. But now i'm going on 19 years old this year and am still having the same problem, the longest I ever went without it was also 6 months and one day it just came. Now, after having a regular period all last year or at least every month last year, i'm still struggling with the same problem I haven't had one since february 1,2005 and I took a pregnancy test in march and it came out negative. Every time I ask a doctor they tell me its normal for girl my age but i'm having trouble believing that, I would also like so help or some advice.

No Period For Over 1 1/2 Years
Hi, had this problem for many years now, use to have irregular periods, use to come on different times of the month etc... Then missed a few completly, went a year without a period, then one day just came back on, then over a year and a half ago it stopped again, and have nothing since. It's crazy and very upsetting, am getting help from the hospital but have had no joy as yet. Anyone know why this is happening? :(

I have that problem. I went to the gyno for breast discharge and then I went to a specialist and I also told her about my irrigular periods and she says she thinks everything is because of hormones. So what am I suppose to do to regulate my hormones? My greatest fear is that missing a period everyother month is going to affect my future plans for children. Anyone else feel that way?

I started my period when I was 9 years old. By the time I was 16 it still wasn't regular. I could go two weeks between periods, a month, three months, I've even had it go a year-and-a-half.

At 16 I was put on birth control and I had a regular period so long as I was on that. I'm now 24, nearly 25.

Recently, my fiance and I are trying to have a baby and when I went off the pill my periods came every two months; not a standard time, but it was like clock work. Now my last period was in January and it's now the middle of June.

My doctors think that I might have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome; they've thought that most of my life.

I was put on Metformin (a drug for diabetes) that is supposed to help women with PCOS, but still no period. I've been on that pill since the beginning of April.

I know that it's not much help, but that's my side of a missing period. I'm not pregnant. I check every month, and boy are those tests expensive.

Good luck.

Hi to all,
There are many reasons as to why a woman can miss her period..
I am 24 and I'm missing my perion for about one year and six months now. Since it came for the first time it has never been regular .When i was 16 I was prescribed two tipes of medicin and taking it for about 1 year everything seemd fine and well , after stoping them i again missed my period. I went to many doctor again and I had many tests done. This time only ,they told that i have a adenom on the hypophysis and there advice was operation to remove it.
My family and i decidet that it would be beter to try traditional chinese medicin. I left for china one yaer a go and for this time i have been taking herbel madicin and a few time tryed acopincture. I do fell that it has halped alot but it takes patiens. I am hoping that soon it will come. I am afraid of doing western medicin knowing my last desapointment and thinkig af all the negetiv efects of the drugs i will be prescribed...
This is my story. But Like i said there are many reasons as to way you are missing your period and trying to take care of what ou eat and how you live can help more than any medicin !
Good Luck
