Could I Possibly "finally" Be Pregnant? Posted: 03-29-05 11:49am
Hi my name is mary and I am new to this.
My bf and I have been trying for 2 years
this may, to have a baby. Recently I was
sent to a fertility specialist who on
march 10 performed a hystiogram(hsg). My
bf and I had sex on mar 11, 13, 15 ( right
around ovulation ). A week afterwards I
started becoming very tired, mild cramps,
and bloating, and my breasts were sore all
over, with my nipples being the worst. I
was due for af yesterday (mon, mar. 28),
and on sunday (mar.27) I noticed a small
spot of blood. Then yesterday severe back
pain and another spot of blood. Today
just back pain with severe gas ( I feel
for my roomie the last few days as its
terrible) other than that I feel fine.
Once in a while I feel like af is going to
start but it hasn't. I am trying to hold
out till the end of the week to see if af
starts to take a preg test, but at the
same time would love to know! Anyways,
just wondering if anyone else had these
same symptoms before you found out you
were pregnant. Thanks!

I am routing for you and hope you get the
results you want I am 16 days past due for
af ....... The week after I stopped
taking bcp I had the worst tender breast
ever. I had to be sleeping in jogging bra
but then 2.5-3 weeks later af came so I
was confused but I hope all works out for
you.
Where in canada r u?

When I stopped taking the patch..The moth
that my af was due, the week before my
period I got extreemly tender nipples..But
it was just a sign of my period..What ever
you do...Do not stress over this..Because
your period will be late.
And don't nit pick yourself everyday all
day about "symptoms" you may think you're
having...That can lead to psychological
nerve misreadings and send signals to
trtrigger those certain symptoms.

Thanks I think I need the baby dust :-) I
have been doing my best to not stress
about it. I truly believe that this is
not the month for me, but that eventually
it will happen. My bf is away working
now, and I only get to see him every 6
weeks :-( so that does make it kind of
hard to make a baby!
Ps: I am in nova scotia :-)

I think you should just take a test!!
Unfortunetly almost all the symptoms of
pregnancy are period symptoms
too.....There's no way to know for sure
untill you test!!! Good luck and let us

I checked tonight and I am spotting again.
This time I would say its af, just
starting out slow. I guess that it will
happen when its meant too. My sister
just had a baby in december and her baby
has a heart defect, due to alcohol abuse
early on in pregnancy. She has yet to
inform her doctors of this. Anyways, I am
doing all that I can to have a healthy
baby when its meant to be. I go again on
april 6th for an appointment with my
fertility specialist to see where we go
from here and to find out the results of
my hsg. I hope that all is well with
that. Maybe he will do something else
with me to see if that helps. For now I
wait and see. Thanks for all of the
replies, they are much appreciated. I
think that I was just a little too
hopeful, and since my sister had a baby I
wish that I would have one too. Its kinda
hard to explain the situation, but
sometimes I wonder why her and not me?
Selfish maybe , but at the same time I
know her situation and she def isnt and
wasnt in the possition to have a child.
Its very sad. And to top it off her baby
is not healthy :-( if anyone knows much on
congenital heart birth defects I would
appreciate any info. I do not talk to her
much these days but when I hear anything
new I do relay information to her. I can
at least help her that way.

Hi I posted yesterday wondering if I could
be pregnant, and last night I was sure af
was coming on full force, and again
today... Nothing. I am 3 days late which
is not normal for me and I dont even feel
like anything is coming. I took a test
last night and it was neg. I am wondering
if hte spotting I did have for 4 days was
just a really light period? Or if it
could be implantation bleeding and its too
soon for a test to show results?
Any info would be appreciated!

well af arrived with avengance full force
a few hours ago. Better luck next time I
guess, if we even continue to try :-( 2
years has been enough for me unless there
are other options that my doctor wants to
try, I am not sure I want to anymore. It
is so heartbreaking every mth when I am
late and then af arrives :-( thanks for
the posts, and gl to everyone who is
trying.
