Hi I am new here. In fact this is my first post. I am 31 yrs old and a married mom to 2 very young children(2 and 3yrs).

About 6mo after having my second baby I decided I would start working on losing weight. I used a supplement containing ephedra. It worked. I got off and gained some weight back. I went to see my dr and he dx me with hypothroidism. For the the past 9mo my periods have been very irregular. I will spot (very lightly) 1-3 days before my actual period comes. Sometimes I am late.

My question is could my thyroid be causing all of these problems or could it be my weight(5'7";163lbs) I used to weigh 127lbs before children.

I have been trying to lose the weight but to no avail. Does or has anyone ever experienced this before? -roni Question
