Hello, shelly.
I too am bulimic, I have been for 5 yrs. After having my 2nd son, I was very ill, I never realized I had a problem, silly me thought my body was just rejecting foods that were bad for me. I never had to make myself vomit, I thought about it and it just happens. When I got pregnant with my daughter, I swear she saved my life. I was good through most of my pregnancy, I did have some issues, but my best friend called and told my doctor,so I was no longer allowed to see how much I weighed. Bulima can cause you to have a preterm baby, which my daughter was 4 wks. Early but I was ready to deliver at 28 wks. When she was born and I didn't hear her crying, it scared me to death. What did I do? She was fine after a little bit and she started to cry. After I had her I swore never again. I walked on my treadmill for 45 mins. A day, did sit-ups, but mostly I counted every calorie. I did slim-fast and subscribed to cooking light.
Of course I didn't lose it all at once, but I was losing 4 lbs. A week.
If you just see yourself losing it in a good way you'll be so proud of yourself.
Have you spoken to your doctor about this?
I now have to go and get my electrolytes checked and i'm on heart medication. And it's because of bulimia. Terri schavio had bulimia and look what happened to her. Don't allow that to happened to you and mostly to your son.
I know this is long but I just get so worked up, plus no one really understands this unless they too have went or is going through this.
If you need to talk i'm here!!!
