I was having protected sex until the lovely condom broke. The guy swore that nothing got in me but i'm not sure I believe him. That was 2 months ago. I have strange night sweats now and a cnaker sore in my mouth. I also had a yeast infection about 1 month ago. What is the probablility that I have hiv and not just some symptoms

Hiv will not show up on a test for a while. This is because anti-bodies haven't been produced yet. Even though night sweats are common symptom of hiv I would not be convinced it is that just yet...It seems to me these symptoms came way too early for hiv but I dont know that for sure

it is recommended to wait 3 months before getting tested and then again another 6 months after the last possible exposure.

i need help please
Hi Dr,
I am worried I dont know what to do help me because I had protected vaginal sex, there was no blood, but I was trying to remove the condom I noticed a broken line around my pen is cap, I dont know how long it has broken. When I told my partner she said she doesnt have sex without condoms, does it mean I am infected with hiv? How soon do you think I should get tested for HIV?
Thank you
