Irregular Periods
Posted: 03-25-05 13:04pm

Does anyone else suffer from irregular menustration?

I honestly hate my body for this!! I was always so regular and then when I got married and started being sexually active my body went wacko. I mean I was always pretty regular but now I never have my period on the same day or within the same week two months in a row. It just kinda comes whenever it feels it like. Sometimes light spotting twice a month.. Sometimes I will go 7 weeks without one. It is soo frustrating especialyl when I want to become pregnant. The doc did a thyroid lab test and said that everything was fine.. But I made another appt for monday so that they can seriously to something about it. For this year '05 in jan I had it the 3rd.. Then 7 weeks later on feb 24th and now its march 25th and no sign of it. I already took like 3 preg. Tests this week and their all negative.... Im soo mad.
Does anybody else have this prob????

Wow! I'm soooo glad i'm not the only one that this is happening to. Mine also started arround the ting I got married. And like you my dr can't find anything wrong. And I also am ttc. And it is very hard with the irregular periods. Mine goes even futher. I sometimes go 6 months wihout a period. All my Dr. Said was as long as I have a period 3 times a year i'm fine. They even put me on clomid to regulate my cycle and increase my chance to conceive. Well I gave it 6 months and that didn't work for either problem. So i'm at a lost right now. Hope this helps you feel less alone.

I am now gonna wait another 2 weeks if it does not show up then I will go see him. I want to be preggo so bad, at times I feel worried over it and at times I am okay, the mood come and goes.........Take courage my dear you are not alone in this struggle...... Pm me if you want and we can share stories

Ok . So what do we do and is there anything we can do about it? It really sucks going through this. I feel like less than a woman because I can't even do what god made us for. To have children. I know I can have then cacue I have 2. Now I am a newly wed and my new husband would like to have a baby and I can't seen to make it happen. I know it's not my fault and it's not his either. We had him tested to make sure. So what do we do.

Aww girls im so glad you both replied. Yeah I am now again 2 weeks late. Its soo frustrating. I ordered like 100 lh (ovulation strips) to check and so far all of those are negative too. Im think that im not ovulating at all and that why I dont have my periods reguarly. I have a doctots appt monday and im not leaving until I get fully checked up on. Actually, im gonna do some research right now and ill come back and post it on here.

Same Thing Is Happening to Me
Posted: 03-31-05 21:15pm

Hey girls! It's so nice to know i'm not the only one this is happening to. I posted a message, but I don't know what board it was on....It wasn't this one, but anywho...I've been regular my whole life, and now all the sudden it's not. I'm 23 years old and married. I always get my period on a sunday, and the last time I got it, it was the thursday (2-17-05) before I was due for my period. Then it lasted forever! It lasted about 11 to 13 days, then it went away for a couple days, then came back for a few days. It is now 3-31-05 and I still haven't gotten my period. I took one home test, the one you pee in a cup and drip urine from a dropper onto the tester....And that one showed up as a very faint line. In the directions it said there may be a difference in the shade of the 2 lines, so basically I read that as a positive result. So to be sure, I took one the same night, one that you pee right on...And that one was negative. So I thought i'd do one in the morning since that's the most accurate time of day to take it...That too came up negative. I've taken 2 others that have came up negative too. I have no idea what's going on...So i'll wait until sunday to see if just maybe my period will be there, and if not I guess i'm going to the gyno on monday. My husband and I have un-protected sex occasionally, we will just let god decide when it's time. So if anyone has any feedback, i'd love to hear it. Thanks ladies!

I actually think I am having my period every 51 days... Isnt that weird? Is been 51 days each time since this january. I am on day 43 as of today. But whats weird is that I am doing the ovulation testing and I tested positive like a week ago. So we had sex for the next 3 days.. Hopefully somethings gonna happen...

Finally!!! People that go through the pain and frustration that I do. For that past 7 months, my cycles have been ridiculously irregular.. Since aug 12 they have been like this: 72, 35, 24, 48, 49 blah the frustration!!! I know you all know what i'm talking about, especially if you're ttc.. Which I kinda am.. I'm just not avoiding, but I really would love to have a child...Me and my dbf both do...But it's more me...But anyways, I totally know how you girls are feeling, so if you need to talk just let me know!!!

I've been to the doc several times and mine said that is I am not going for like 6 months without a period then its probably nothing to worry about. And what angers me off is they blame all my symptoms on the miscarriage I had like 5 months ago. Every pain, all the orregualr periods, my inability to become pregnant. Its becoming a lame excuse....... Im gonna change doctors..

I know that feeling. I need to get another dr too. Mine blams every thing on my iud. Which might very well be what caused my problems. Thats why I got rid of it. But 4years later i'm still havin problem. A period every 4 to 6 months in theory is pretty good. Cause I don't know about yall but I hate that time of the month. But I want to be missing it pecause I expecting not cause my system is screwed. But what can we do about it? All I want is one more, the last one. Is thar so wrong?

Irregular Periods
Posted: 04-11-05 22:03pm

Hello,

i too am having this problem. Mine is a fun one. I have always gone months at a time without a period until I took b/c for 5 years , I came off it great i'm finally normal and 6 months later pregnant. Then I took the depo injection for 3 years big big big mistake doctor neglects to tell you that it can really mess things up. No period for 6 months than wow I have one for 1 week than again 2 weeks later and than a week and so forth. There great advice go back on regular birth control for 2 months and pray when your done you fine. Got one more month of this crap left to do. I never thought the second time would be harder than the first. Anyone know what they do if this doesnt work?
