Vitamin Ingestion Question: All At Once = Too Much?

Just a random question:

if I take a mulitvitamin in the morning... Doesn't most of it go to waste, seeing how I can only ingest so much? It doesn't make sense to me to take one pill for the whole day.
I've been taking half in the morning, and half in the eve, as that's closer to how it would work if I ate properly.
Am I making this too difficult?

Actually, you are probably doing the right thing by splitting it up, but despite your efforts your body is still not absorbing most of it.

May I suggest a liquid vitamin? Again, you would want to drink this at night before bedtime or add it to some water that you would drink throughout the day-as you were trying to do with the pill. Much more would be absorbed by your body and you will feel the effects that it is working.

If you take vitamins at night it can keep you up, not let you sleep. Vitamins are energetic. People want to feel relaxed before they go to sleep. Not like they ran a marathon.
