Your weight alone is not a clear indicator of how much body fat you've lost.

When strength training you will also produce more dense muscle mass, which is heavy.

It is quite likely that you have lost body fat, increase lean muscle which has increased your over-all weight. In the mirror though, you will look slimmer and more defined.

To measure properly, you'll need to keep track of the size of your waist, arms, and thighs.

I agree with him. I to was getting discuraged from working out and gaining weight. What also helps is a elctronic fat measure and it will defently make u feel better it made me. But when using it . It might also confuse u cuz rember u have boobs and those are fat but good fat so give ur self about a 15%body fat slide. Depends on ur size.

I agree. When you're weight training you want to judge your success by inches and bodyfat percentage. The scale can be very misleading.

Don't become discouraged. Muscle weighs more than fat but is smaller. More muscle means you're burning more calories and therefore more fat.
