I'm 18 and pregnant with my first baby, a boy, due in april. I went to my doctors appointment and they measured me like they usually do and they said I measure the same as last week and they need to do an ultrasound as soon as possible because they don't think the baby is growing. This scared the crap out of me....But I feel like i'm getting bigger all the time and i'm still gaining 2 or 3 pounds every two weeks like I should. My shirts feel like they're getting tighter all the time so could the doctor just have measured wrong? My mom thinks that since i'm on medicaid that they're taking advantage of it because they did alot of unnesessary tests throughout my pregnancy and they've done 4 ultrasounds for no reason. They also switch doctors on me alot. I go to an adolesent health center which is basically there for teenage pregnancy and such, and I swear i've seen every doctor that works there except the one they "assigned" to me on my first visit so I guess it's possible the doctors just measure differently and they got my measurements screwed up! Should I be as worried as I am over this? I haven't changed my eating habits at all and I can't think of anything that might cause it. Has anyone had the same problem? I'm driving myself insane over this.
