Addicted to Pills... Please Reply Posted: 03-22-05 01:28am
I am addicted to pills... Any kind
really... I like the feeling you get.
Especially ccc's and vicodin. The feeling
kind of eases my pains and I don't worry
about anything else while i'm on them.
But i'm going for a job interview and am
required to do a drug test... Ccc's and
vicodin won't cause me to fail it right?
Please respond!!!

Hey malorie, how are you doing?
Most do not add all of these in their
expanded test, but choose a different
combination of 3 or 4 to add : hydrocodone
(lortab, vicodin), benzodiazepines
(valium, xanax, librium, serax, rohypnol),
propoxyphene (darvon compounds). Most
drug testing companies also offer an
expanded test which includes a few
additional drugs in the testing process.
Substance blood saliva sweat
urine hair
codeine/morphine unknown 7-21 hrs
unknown 2-4 days up to 90 days
cannabis (habitual use) 2 weeks 14
hrs unknown up to 12 wks up to 90 days
I don't mean to be rude, but you should
really seek help. Employers screen for
drug addicts, drug abusers, alcoholics
because they don't want them as employees.
Even if you do pass the screening, if
hired and you get hurt on the job,
worker's compensation will not pay for
your injury because you were on drugs!
You get tested upon arrival at the
hospital upon injury. Now, I am not
saying that you are going to get hurt, but
if you are addicted to pain pills the
chances of you getting hurt definately go
up. Plus, taking pain pills on a regular
basis causes all kinds of health problems.
I just would hate to see you suffer for
the rest of your life because you didn't
stop a problem before it got too bad.
Please get help!

Oh, and p.S most employers only do a urine
test because the cost of anything else is
way too expensive. But, if a trace of
something is found in your urine then they
may require a blood test. If you aren't
going to pass your best bet is to not go
and get tested. This way when you are
clean, you can reapply and have a chance
of getting hired.
