Q: Sex After Hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy almost 2 years ago, when I was 24...About a year ago, I started noticing changes in my sex drive...Sometimes I would really be intersted, other times I wasnt remotely...Which doesnt sound too abnormal, but after a few months of that, it completely disappeared! I have no sex drive at all...To be honest, the thought of it actually grosses me out, makes my skin crawl and my stomach turn to think of having sex, or even letting a man touch me. Is this normal, or is ther something wrong with me?? Will it pass?? What do I do?

It's perfectly normal. The best thing you can do is communicate with your partner.
I doubt he is a pschyic - don't you just wish men were - life would be so easy.
So unless you tell him how you feel he can't begin to understand and may just get frustrated which can lead to arguements.
If you can communicate he can have some idea of why you feel the way you do.

I believe communication and contact are the key to long lasting relationships.
Contact doesn't neccesarily mean sex - contact is a quick kiss in the morning and at night, holding hands walking throught the park, a hand on a shoulder...
