I am no doctor but, if I understand correctly, you refer to sciatic pain which comes from impingement of the sciatic nerve that branches off the lumbar spine and runs down the back of either leg.

Is there a chiropractor available? That was the best help I got when I had this problem during a pregnancy.

Apply ice -not heat- to the area of pain for 20 minutes every hour and take anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen.

May not can be cured but can definitely get a whole lot better, mine did!

Hi, you can ask the doctor to prescribe you Diazepam and Naproxen, it will ease the pain and she can walk, hopefully it will go after sometime, but it will get her to be active again and in less pain.
