I think its pretty normal to feel that way...I had my hysterectomy almost 2 years ago (when I was 24) and occasionally I still feel the same way...Especially when everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant. I honestly beleive the emptiness feeling is an emotion that never goes away, just one you have to learn how to deal with. With me, I just tried focusing on other things, mostly just about how happy I am that I have the 2 little boys I was lucky enough to have before I couldnt.

I know that feeling only too well.
I also know how much it hurts to hear other people say "i had my hyst but at least I had my kids first" - my hyst was performed while I was pregnant because my baby ruptured my uterus.
I know you didn't mean to offend but it still hurts.

Im really sorry to hear that...I couldnt even begin to imagine what that must be like for you
i was told in the middle of my first pregnancy that neither one of us would survive thru it...After he was born I was told I could never have anymore, a few years later I miscarried, then 6 years later I had another baby...So I do consider myself one of the lucky ones...I was never meant or made to have babies, so I am so very sorry for what happened to you and your baby =`(
how long ago was that??? Have you talked to anyone about it, like a counselor or anything??
