Why does a man gets circumcised?
God has given us a foreskin on our penis to protect it and keep it sensetive to get more-n-more sex pleasure. Can you tell me the name of any animal whose penis does not gets out on excitement. Actually a circumcised penis is the only penis whose shape does not changed during the sex. All other penises gets out from their cover only for the sex. When a penis lives in the cover his senstiveness remains and with this penis you can get maximum pleasure all the way either during vaginal sex or oral sex. A circumcise kills the outer surface of penis head and circumcised man founds last longer during sex but he can not get the real pleasure of sex. An uncircumcised man gets very much excited during sex, specially during oral and that is called the real pleasure.
I explain you more, a circumcised penis does not remain a special organ (sex organ) after circumcisation, it becomes just a normal body part like hand, nose, ears, legs etc. Because of its very low sensitivity. Sex with a circumcised penis can definitely fulfill the requirements of a female but not of the male. A circumcised man just becomes a worker for his partner nothing else.
This is my opinion!

You're absolutely correct in your statements.. Although possibly a little exagerated in some parts.

There is a very bad rumour out there that circumcision is for hygenic reasons... Which is very ill founded information. When in fact without the foreskin the penis is much more likely to get infections and run into sexual problems, especially arousal and impotence problems.

However, there are pro's of getting circumsized, not many, but there are some that should not be overlooked. For one, since the man receives less pleasure he is also typically able to last longer in the bedroom before orgasm. Which for ladies, is probably a good thing. The other benefit is simply appearance. The men in pornographic films and material usually are circumsized for appearance, so it is what is deemed as "normal looking". So women expect this.

Just like there are women in magazines and pornography with "perfect" shaped breasts and aerolas, in the real world it's not like this... They're not always the same size, or perfect shape, not always firm, etc. And some guys look at "normal" looking breasts as a defect of how it should be.

In the end, everyone is different. Most guys don't have the choice if they are circumsized or not, it's their parents who make this decision. So you live with what you have.

Whether or not a man is circumcised appears to be completely unrelated to whether he enjoys sex, or whether he is any good at it, or can last longer or whatever. There's a lot of circumcised men around -- and I don't hear a lot of them saying how little sensation they have in their penises, and how they don't much enjoy sex. Plenty of them are just as much premature ejaculators as uncircumcised.

By all means, enjoy fiddling with your foreskin if you've got one, but don't think it makes you any better or any more of a man than someone who hasn't got one.

a Woman Point of View
Well I have been with both circumsized and uncircumsized men and there is a difference besides the apearance. It actuallly is more actractive to the eye a circumsized male. Even though now I am no longer into males, if I were just for simple things as smell and taste I would go for the circumsized. When the majority of guys urinate they just "shake it off", and so if you are in the movies and are up for something kinky you are not going to run to the bathroom and wash up so having all that humidity under the skin give a certain smell not to pleasant. I am not speaking for all guys just the ones I have been with.

So bottom line is that every girl is different and everyone has their own particular taste. Just be happy with what you got and make the most of it.

Carry a wash cloth or something.

It may be easier for the man to get "infections" or whatever from sexual contact, however a circumcised penis is cleaner than an uncircumcised. An uncircumcised penis is more likely to carry bacteria, body soil, dirt, whatever, under that little piece of skin and therefore it is more likely to give the woman an infection.
Aside from that, I imagine it is just custom in some religions and for others it is just what they do. I really don't know, but if I had a baby boy he would be circumcised. There are chances that you take, as in any major or minor surgery, but the chances of something going wrong are very low. It would be easier for me (when he was a baby) and for him when he got older to keep it clean.
As for it being easier for a man to get infections/std's if it is circumcised, he should be wearing a condom anyway if he isn't monogomous (and I probably spelled that wrong!)
i personally prefer circumcised. I think the other way is unattractive. But, that is just my personal opinion.

Circumcision do help hygiene and also is said to prevent cancerous tendencies from irritation due to sebum and Smegma bacilli accumulation underneath.

Circumcision also works a minor restriant against excessive addiction to sex, masturbation, and self-centeredness. It would help someone who want to orient himself more on giving rather than getting. Hence it is also a spiritual help.

As a man matures in sex, he should be able get more joy in giving rather than in getting. I think we all should grow into this maturity, rather getting stuck at place in a trap of self-centered pleasure. Mere love should give way to higher love.

@ 2ferano mainly, but for everyone as well.

I certainly hope if you have a son that you do not make him undergo infant circumcision. Instead, allow him to decide when he comes of age and can determine what he would prefer. Have a talk with him or just let him figure it out himself. As a male that had no choice when i was circumcised as an infant, i sure wish i had the chance to at least experience what the foreskin provides. Just knowing that an innate sensation of pleasure was taken from me without my consent makes me slightly angry and ultimately saddened that i will never be able to experience this in my life. By no means will this stop me from enjoying sex but i just wish i had the choice, and that's really all it comes down to. Will you be able to live with yourself knowing you didn't give your son the ability to make such a large choice in his life?

Personally, my father never confronted me about sexuality or anything of the nature (thankfully i suppose, certainly didn't regret missing any awkward moments) but instead i found out about everything i know via school and the web. Ever since i realized my parents had made such a decision for me i've had slightly bitter feelings towards them that they rejected my ability to ever experience that. Mind you i still love them dearly and this is no matter whatsoever that i harp upon, but it's just something to think about. I know if i ever wind up having a son, i'll allow him to not only make this choice, but to make as many choices as he can for himself, it's the best way to learn and live.

I agree with Forerunner117. I too was circumcised as an infant, and had no choice or life experience on living with an uncut penis. I like to believe that I would allow my son to chose when he is old enough. Another reason that some people have their children circumcised is becuase the childs father was also circumcised.

There is no difference in sensitivity between circumcised and uncircumcised males at all. The idea is a huge joke. If you were circumcised as a child absolutely don't feel as if anything was taken from you other than additional daily cleaning and slight potential health risk.

Although it was mentioned briefly before but not with any emphasis, penile cancer is virtually unheard of in circumcised males.

If a circumcised guy asks me if I'm circumcised I always say "yes, of course" even though I'm not cut. These guys need to hear that their friends are cut like they are in order to feel better about themselves for some reason. They pretend to be thankful for being circumcised, claiming they are cleaner or better in some way for it.

I've heard many people say that being cut and being uncut makes no difference in terms of sensation. Most uncut guys nod our heads when we hear this while secretly agreeing that this notion sounds rather absurd. I've known one guy who got circumcised as an adult and he doesn't seem too happy about it. Actually going from uncut to cut, as a sexually active adult is the *only* way to judge the affects of being cut on sensation. If these guys aren't happy about it, then it probably dulls sensation.

I come from a rather wealthy area. The people I grew up with and I all came from affluence. None of us were circumcised, other than our Jewish friends. Rich people are often not cut, but poor people all seem to do it. I'm not sure why this is but I'm guessing it comes from the fact that poor people are more likely to have a dad from the military (which promoted the act) and also the fact that poor people tend to be less educated and thus believe that circumcision is useful or even beneficial, outside of religious purposes. I noticed the poster above said that penile cancer is "unheard of" in circumcised males. That's very interesting since actually African Americans represent a highly circumcised group in America and also the most likely group to develop penile cancer later in life. In addition, countries like Denmark that don't practice much circumcision (they are currently trying to outlaw it) have lower rates of penile cancer than other countries.

I'm not for or against circumcision, per se, but just trying to give the lack of it a fair defense. I personally would not circumcise my child unless the mother insisted upon doing it for religious or familial reasons. The reason for this is simple: I have always had great relationships with women and I believe the main reason for this is because I enjoy sex more than most men. I think sex is a key component of a romantic relationship. Myself and my uncut friends have a lot of it with our girlfriends, yet the cut guys I know have seem to have less of it. Is there a correlation? I don't know. I do know that the idea of having sex without with a cut penis gives me the exact feeling of fingers being scraped across a chalkboard so maybe it doesn't feel as good. If I had a boy, I'd want him to have the best possible relationship with his future wife someday and thus I would not want to cut him.

In addition, while the cut and uncut penises work about the same in a wet medium, I don't think the cut penis works as well in a dry medium. Even though, when erect, the glans of the uncut penis is exposed, the skin still retains elasticity. Thus, since women tend to become dry in their later years (and some if they go on "the pill") it's probably best to be uncut if you plan on sleeping with your wife/girlfriend as much as possible.

This is actually not a way that you can determine if there is a difference in sensation between circumcised and uncircumcised males. It is a great way to find out of penile surgery can affect sensitivity as an adult. It can in case you were curious. The only way you can know is to PET or CAT scan the human brain while male genitals are stimulated. They did this in the late 70's. Circumcised men don't recieve any additional stiumulation. You could also have sex with a large quantity of male partners both circumcised and non and see if one group reacts more strongly to sensation than the other. Have you had a lot of male sexual partners?

It is a struggle to piece out which part of this section of statements is more prejudiced and wrong. Wealthy people are not more often uncircumcised, poor people are not less often uncircumcised. The military hasn't promoted circumcision in any official capacity in the last 50 years, if ever. Poor people are not less educated. More educated people do not beleive that circumcision only serves a religious purpose, because it does prevent reproductive health problems in males. I'm not going to get into the racist nonsense. I honestly don't know if Denmark has lower instances of penile cancer but I know that they do have it and just like the rest of the planet less than 1% of men who have penile cancer are uncirmcumcised.

If you're talking about pottery it doesn't matter wheather you use a wet or dry medium glaze, both circumcised and uncircumcised penises will incinerate in a kiln. If you're talking about sex, it is allways a "wet medium". Otherwise you're simply causing nervous tissue damage. The cowper's gland produces an exactly identical amount of lubricant in cirucmcised and uncircumcised males. From an engineering standpoint, circumcised penises have less surface area, less drag and should require less lubricaiton to facilitate smooth motion.

Edward22.
Don't go telling the cut guys how the uncut guy's feel.
Let them think there is no difference in sensitivity,
you have to give them something to hope for to make
them feel better for having there manhood tampered with.
I noticed most of the pro Circumcision members do not advocate
circumcision for women which I'm sure they would think there is
benefits of doing this as well.

If you would like people to take your opinion seriously it might be best not to compare a hygienic tradition with genital torture designed to oppress a gender. It tends to make you look really bad.

If that's your belief it's likely that you need to get more information on the practice of female circumcision. It is not relevant to the topic being discussed her.
