I have had pain lately under my my left
nipple. Their is a small lump that feels
like it has been growing, just under the
nipple. I went to the doctor, and they
want to do tests to make sure its not
cancer. I have been so worried since they
told me. What's the chances that it is.
Couldn't it be a medical sis. My dad said
that he had one in the same place, and had
to get it removed. Could it just be
genetic. I am really scared that it could
be male breast cancer. I have been
looking on all web-sites related to it, to
try and find out more information. It is
hard. Just under the nipple, and feels
like it could be growing. Its hurts when
touched. What is the chances it could be
cancer.

I don't think anyone can give you an exact
estimate on the chances of it being cancer
or not. It could just be a cyst. It
could be a tumor, or it could be cancer.
I can't tell you the chances, sorry.
Just try not to worry too much because
there is a good chance it is just a cyst.
Cysts can grow anywhere in the body and
it is very likely that is all it is.
Have you had a biopsy done yet? Or are
they just going to remove it and run tests
after it is removed? I wish you the
best.

Thanks for the quick response. I guess I
have to wait for the biopsy. I have been
tring not to think about it. Anyway I was
just curious if someone new anything that
I haven't read from different web-sites.
The doctor left me in the dark. Her
answer was just that she thought it might
be cancer. I wished she would have just
said we need to run some tests. This way
I wouldn't have to wait in the dark for
the answer. Thanks anyway for responding.

I am sorry I couldn't really help. Yeah,
it probably would have been better if your
doc just said she had to run some tests.
It is easy for me to say not to worry
about it, but I also know that isn't
possible. I really do wish you the best
of luck! *here's hoping it is just a
little cyst that can be removed and thrown
away!*

It is almost always a cyst. If it can't
move, that is, you move the skin, but the
lump doesn't, then the risk is higher, as
male breast cancer almost always are stuck
in the muscles of the chestwall itself.
It is also much more rare; for every man
who develops breast cancer, 125 women
develop breastcancer.

Now that was good news, thanks. I seen
from different web-sites that it was rare.
I didn't know it was that rare. The
doctor really scared me. I just checked
again. It does move a little. I didn't
notice that last time I checked. I guess
I feel alot better now. Maybe it is a
cyst. Thanks for replying, that really
made my day.

Thanks steen! Much better response than
mine!Lol. Hey, that is weird, because
with women's breast cancer they say if it
does move, so it is the opposite. I did
not know that!
