If the symptoms have not improved by today, then you should definitely contact your doctor immediately. It sounds like it could simply be the flu or food poisoning (fatigue, muscle aches, loss of appetite, vomiting; if you vomited 4x in one day, that would likely cause soreness in your rib area). However, it could certainly be something much more serious.

I think the other symptoms (depression, stress, fatigue, and alcohol) are a separate issue. If you really feel that you have a problem with alcohol, then contact your nearest church/synogogue/mosque or community agency about joining a chapter of alcoholics anonymous. Take someone you trust along with you to the first meeting, just so you don't have to go by yourself. I think that would be a great place to get started on your internal uneasiness.

Counseling is also a life-saver! I've worked with several psychologists over the years for anxiety and perfectionism. Therapy has been so important in my own continuing journey toward wellness.

It shows great personal strength to say "i'm weak, and I need help." know that you have a lot of support, both in this forum and in the real world!

Hope you're feeling better!
