Sounds like rosacea... Talk to your doctor for a topical cream or antibiotic.

i have the same problem sometimes because my face is very sensitive. Whenever I use a strong face cleaner like that proactive stuff i'm fine until I take a shower the next day and the water hits my face. The next thing I know my cheek area is really red. If you face is always red and it doesnt do this from creams, lotions, etc.... Then I would see a skin doctor if you havnt already. They can give you something to help.
