Heres alot of the classic feelings you get from anxiety symptoms, I like reading about symtpoms (really specific symptoms) becuase it puts a big smile on my face and makes me feel better but an hour later ill be scared again looking for another list of symtpoms. Anyways heres -some- symptoms from panic attacks.

Heart palpatations- feels like your heart skips a beat, feels like it thumps in the middle of your chest etc.

Blurred vision

eye tricks- seein spots or things out of the corner of your eyes, colored spots all that

dizzy- one of the main symtpoms I think everyone has experienced

chest pains- sometimes it even feels like your heart itsself hurts

tightenss in your chest

head pains- I get these all the time and doctors at hospitals and tons of other people ive talked to with panic attacks have these, they can feel like a quick sharp pain, mild shooting pain, throbbing

faintness- I hate this but its another big symtpom of anixetys

feeling of impending doom

worrying about family members or other people trhat are close to you

tinglyness

feeling as if your hearts beating messed up- alot of people freak out becuase they go to check their palse and they cant feel it

neck pain

shortness of breath

back pain

feeling like you have to take a crap all of a sudden- lol actually happens to alot of people

constant worrying about a health problem- thinking the dizzyness or numbeness is a brain tumor, anueyrsm,ms,stroke all that, thinking the chest pains or tightness or the shortness of breath is a heart attack or heart failure

fear of losing it or going crazy

deppression

anyways these are just a few of the thigns u can feel from anxietys. Whenever I get scared I usually look up symptoms from hypochondriasis and anxiety it always makes me feel better.

Classic Anixiety Symptoms
From all the symptoms you classified I experienced one symptoms worry too much about family member. I take treatment for that effexor it helps me a lot. I take small dosage it is 75mg. I tried to quit but I noticed that it helps me a lot for that I take it again. My doctor too advised me not to quit it. I have sle systematic lupus erythromatosis and this affected my nervous system. When someone suffer from depration or anxiety he,she must know what lead or cause that. There must be illness affected our body and cause that deppretion or anxiety. We have to talk to doctors about what bothering us or harm us and from our medical history they easily diagnose the illness.

God bless you all

Anxiety Symptoms
I've had anxiety/panic attacks for the past 3 years. With therapy and paxil my symptoms have gotten better. They advertise scented candles that help you relax. I bought some and the scents are very calming, especially when I listen to my relaxing cd's at the same time. I highly recommend them (everyone in my anxiety group bought some too and they love them!). Each week one of us brings in a candle and we light it during group. It's amazing how much more relaxed we all feel.

And I thought that 3 years wasn't that long. Some of my fellow group members have had anxiety and panic attacks for 5 years or more. I hope when I hit 5 years I will have even less symptoms than now. That would be great!

I'm scared all the time too. I feel like I can't be alone or like i'm going to jump out of my skin. I had anxiety when I was in 3rd grade and it really hit hard about four years ago. *(im 26) panic attacks really bad. I've been on paxil for almost four years and it was really working. Now all of the sudden over night it seems to just not be helping. I woke up from a nap with my heart beating so fast I thought it was gonna blow up and I felt like I couldn't quite catch my breath it was shacking with my heart beat. I hate feeling like this. I just want to feel normal and not scared. Now I worry that this will pass on to my son. I don't know what to do anymore, just when I was feeling good it all started over again. :(

Wow.. It really is good to hear that im not the only one out there who feels this way.. I have had all those symptoms for the last 2 years... I used to get the feeling like I really had to pee whenever I was in a class room or some place closed lol.. I know its rediculous but it really made me worry non stopped.... Now days I just worry about things that are probably impossible for me to have... Im only 19 and I worry about getting alzheimers (however its spelled) and things like that all the time....

By the way is it normal to feel physically weak sometimes when u have a disorder like this? Cuz I find I feel pretty weak and tired often :\

Of course it's normal to feel weak, think about what your body goes through, your muscles your adrenalin all that makes you feel tired and everything, your body can physically hurt. Believe me I worry about everything, if I find a bump so where oh my god I freak out, the news talks about a new flu or virus or disease, I got it. I'm a major hypocondriac and worry about dying daily and my family. It's horrible I used to wake up to go to work and the whole time I was putting makeup on I was freaking about driving to work and getting into an accident. I guess there is no easy fix on this situation, but it does help to talk about your fears and face them head on. Taking the first step is the hardest, but it does get better. I've been on paxil and it really has helped me. Don't get me wrong it doesn't cure it, but it really helps me get through life more normal, if there is such a thing lol :)

Worried
Hi ya, I was just wondering if anxiety can cause tension between the sholder blades and make you feel sick, I have also got an up set tummy, am either hot or shivering, (but have no temperature) and feel dissy and worried for no reason all the time. I felt like I was losing the plot a bit untill I found out that I am not alone with these feeluings.

I have done some research and thikn i could be suffering from anxiety tho im not quite sure.
I dont feel depressed, and have a wonderfull family and lots to be happy about, so am confused as to why this is happening. It only happend receintly when i was at a friends and all of a sudden i felt hot, sick dissy, shakey and very scared. This happens now every time i think about socialsing with people. Has anyone else had this or knows why this happens. I am normally quite confident (or at least I thought i was untill this happend) and just want to feel back to normal again I am taking "Quiet Life" herbal tablets at the mo which seem to be helping, but I am still experiencing all the symtoms only milder! Help!

How to Reduce Anxiety
Sometimes the best way to reduce anxiety is simply to sit down and think your way through your problems. One approach is to work out your thoughts and feelings about the things that cause you stress and to test your assumptions and beliefs about them, especially where unhelpful or unrealistic. By trying out new ways of reacting you can essentially change your behaviour to something more positive and useful.

This approach does work, and is an effective alternative to medication for many. It's something you can do yourself, and the approach is also used professionally - it's called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I do hope this helps. Sometimes problems are best solved through thinking and talking - and solved properly - without the need for constant medication.

anxiety
i must say. it feels good to know im not the only one who suffers with this. its hard to believe that anxiety/stress can cause so many problems in our bodies. for three nights in a row i feel like im just gonna go crazy. i get the
pain through-out my back
fatigue
hard to swallow
shakiness
and its to the point where i cant be alone, or go somewhere by myself....i hate going anywhere...the only time i feel safe is either in the hospital or by a hospital.
i did develope a new symptom tonight and would like to know if anyone else ever had it.
it was tingling on my tongue.
iv had tingling before, but never on my tongue.
