Sexual Health - Women Forum - Has Anyone Taken Provera Before?

I recently stopped taking my bc after 9 years. I have not had my period in 2 months. I am not pregnant and my gyno perscribed provera to start my period. They told me that it would be realy bad and painful when I did have it. Has anyone taken provera to start thier period and how bad was it?
